Heinz von Diringshofen Papers
Heinz von Diringshofen (1900-1967) was a pioneer in aviation and space medicine, contributing greatly to the field through his research on the effects of weightlessness on pilots and human tolerance to multiple g-loads. The collection consists largely of materials documenting Diringshofen's laboratory and research activities and of published and unpublished writings by Diringshofen and others.

Helmuth F. Orthner papers
UNPROCESSED COLLECTION. Files related to the first SCAMC (Symposium on Computer Applications in Medical Care) annual meetings including event planning records and tape recordings of the proceedings and training sessions. Also Orthner's personal/teaching computer 'Hardware Museum' materials--vacuum tubes, transistors, circuit boards, memory and processing chips, network cabling. His teaching materials were discarded at some point and do not survive.
Henkel Family Papers
Letters document several generations of the Henkel family of Virginia, four members of which were physicians, three of whom participated in the Civil War.

Henry Leber Coit Papers
Henry Coit was a pediatrician and won recognition for his work on the care and feeding of infants. The collection contains correspondence, photos, genealogical data, certificates and diplomas, medical school lecture notes, day books, case reports, memorandum books, ledgers and accounts, reports, articles and speeches, notes, reprints, clippings, printed matter, graphs, charts and blueprints.

Dr. Henry Harkins was with the Department of Surgery, School of Medicine, University of Washington from 1947. The collection contains correspondence, biographical data, research studies, typescripts of talks and lectures, operative records and case reports, memoranda, diaries, reprints and printed matter, certificates and diplomas, and photographs.
